Overview
The web designer will be responsible for the day-to-day site design and creation. Will keep www.gfsionline.com up to date with daily/weekly updates from Brand Teams & Art Teams. This will allow each sales rep to quickly find the necessary Sales/Marketing Tools and download to their iPad, laptop or home computer for presentation purposes. Responsible for redesign/update of www.gearforsports.com, which will involve seasonal updates. Join Scene 7 Team to help develop a new garment image library with internal & external access.
The Web Designer is responsible for the development and design of major and minor Web applications and components for the internal and external system users. The developer will design, develop, test and deliver web sites, applications and components. Enhancements and defect resolution will be required on an ongoing basis. Best practices and design methods will be utilized to insure the success of the projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Creating or editing images and graphics for website use
Creating templates of approved website layout
Make changes to the site directed by client
Verify functionality of website
Assist in meetings with divisional Brand Teams to implements files into new website
Work with Creative Leads to implements files into new website
Developing/Managing new websites: www.gfsionline.com, www.gearforsports.com, Follett, Barnes & Noble, etc.

Work Environment
Works in well lighted, air conditioned/heated office environment
Minimum Qualifications
Six months experience working in WordPress, HTML and Javascript
Familiar with issues of browser / server compatibility
Experience in developing websites and / or web applications
